Vishakha Singh Instagram – Gotta love Toronto ! Who would have thought an Indian would discover Ethiopian food in Canada 🙂 . . Had the best Ethiopian vegetarian lunch yesterday followed by a coffee ceremony. Couldn’t help but wonder at the striking similarity between Indian vegetarian food and this. A platter full of spicy lentils, green vegetables, cabbage, beetroot etc on a bed of gluten free ‘Injera’bread (reminded me of our yummy neer dosa), this was one lunch that I truly relished. . Fun facts: 1)The Ethiopian Calendar has 13 months and it is 7 ½ years behind the Gregorian calendar.
