Al Gore Instagram – Acting to solve the climate crisis starts at the grassroots level. Young activists like @liazakiyyah, a Climate Leader in Indonesia, embodies this spirit. Lia has taken the tools she developed at our training in Manila to equip people with knowledge and resources to address the impacts of the climate crisis, and to advocate for solutions. This work is especially crucial in Indonesia, with its more than 17,000 islands with vast forests, oceans, and diverse ecosystems. I am so proud of her work with the “Youth Leadership Camp for Climate Crisis,” a flagship program for the @ClimateReality Indonesia branch, which has been mentoring more than 2,500 youths across this beautiful island nation. | Posted on 05/Mar/2020 01:44:01
