Eric Arndt Instagram – Memorial Day was a certainly a day to remember for me!!! I’ll never be able to thank you, the fans, and more importantly all the soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice for people like me to live the American dream. To have a voice that makes people listen is a gift from god and I don’t ever want to waste it. In 2011 around the time I had my try out for The WWE I lost a friend, America lost a soldier, and I was guilt ridden with inspiration to live the life I told Staff Sergeant Joseph D’Augustine I was going to the last time I ever saw him. When I moved to Tampa FL I never wrestled before and I didn’t know a sole in the business. I was given an opportunity and I owed it to Joe to take full advantage of it. I kept Joe’s memorial photo on the mirror in my bathroom everyday and it inspired me everyday to wake up and live life with a smile on the fullest pursuit of happiness. And I achieved it. I wrote Joe’s nickname Dago on my wrist tape at Wrestlemania. I know he was watching me that day, and I certainly know that he was watching me on Memorial Day. We did it.
