Anju Kurian Instagram – A firm believer in ‘turning adversity into opportunity’, @sujithstory has made his mission to inspire the same in others. It was lovely meeting my schoolmate after 10years and we had such a meaningful conversations. Right from those school days, he was a confident and optimistic guy. His accident sent all of us into shock. Multiple fractures to the skull, damage to the spine and had to be wheelchair-bound because he got paralysed below the waist– who would expect him to come back to a normal life? He proved to the world that the power to change circumstance lies not with doctors or other people ,but with the person himself. Even after all the struggles he decided to join gym. When everyone told him it was impossible, he demonstrated that impossible was just an illusion. That instance where he managed to pull a 1.3 ton car – I cannot express how awestruck I was. After speaking with Sujith I realised that, in a test of ones life we should have faith, dedication, patience, discipline and self motivation to reach our goals. Hats off to you my dear friend. Today’s youth has a lot to learn from you. Your story testifies that when the going gets tough, the tough get going. Dubai, United Arab Emirates
