Ok peeps. I’m gonna be here for a bit.⁣ ⁣⁣
There was a lot to despair about this world before bloody Covid-19. A lot. Now it’s taken this virus for the entire world to take pause and re-evaluate and honour some of the things that matter most; Human life, freedom and health, including the health of our planet. We are all connected. Like it or not. ⁣⁣ I’m no stranger to voluntary or involuntary containment at the hands of war. More on that another time. Right now, I stand privileged to have the choice to protect my family from home, so many people don’t even have this basic right or option. Heroes of the world, Men and Women in public service sectors including Doctors, Nurses, Teachers, Carers and Cleaners, I salute you.⁣⁣⁣

When I was a kid I wanted to be a pilot, and no, our showrunner Jack Lothian didn’t know that when he wrote that story line in for Novin last season. Growing up someone told I me I couldn’t be one because it’s not what girls do. I never got the chance to see female pilots either, so I believed it was true. More on that another time. Later in life, what I did score was was an incredible and rare opportunity to play a Special Forces Soldier in a re-booted production of a long running, seriously kick ass series. Not just one, not two but 3 seasons more. Looking at so many shows getting cancelled, industry folk in genuine fear and anxiety about their future, I feel conflicted about bangin’ on about Strike Back. But I can’t help remembering faces of the crew, their kindness, their dedication, tireless tireless work on and off set. So much is given to make this show what it is, over and above the standard. Ask ANYONE who has worked on it. Like they say, You can only achieve extraordinary things with extraordinary people. I’m proud to say they were my people. We got to the actual finish line because of them. ⁣⁣

I know so many fans are upset it’s the last but I honestly consider us so lucky to even walk away with this final season in the bag. Here’s to all the fans and your undying support. Just. Hold. On.
