To wake up everyday and fight this monster head on. Thank you for your love and care and not giving up. To everyone still working to keep us all alive , fed and society supported on a daily basis , bless everyone staying home in various quarantine situations. It is challenging for all in many different ways. I’ve been overwhelmed myself with what’s happening. Trying to digest it all and protect my children. I had to take a breather from the pressure and normality of what was our reality before this virus hit us . We are now forever changed in so many ways. @davidgardner and i have 4 children ages 3,5,12,15. We have been in quarantine for 20 days. 🥴😬🙏🏻💗🙃 Omg taking care of 4 kids not in school is no fucking joke. Bless all caregivers🙌🏻24/7 cooking , cleaning , school, love , play , listening, more cooking , more cleaning and again. My hands are raw as so many’s are. I have been trying my best to keep my family going as normal. The news / tv is so painful everyday. So many suffering. What can we really do to help? We are told to stay home but my heart wants to check in on everyone. Im very moved by the work still going on. The medical teams , scientists , all hospital workers , world leaders and everyday important workers keeping it all going. The little details mean everything. Thank you!!!! I hope you can feel our deep gratitude and know you are appreciated and supported. Who knows what is going to happen? This is a whole new fucking world 🙈What will life be like after all this ? We must believe in each other. In Mother Nature, In humanity , hold ourselves and our loved ones close in our hearts. I woke up this morning and this woman @sydvic1ous inspired me so much I broke out of my fear cacoon. I was in pure momma bear survival mode trying to care for my family . But my children’s love and laughter is so healing and humor between friends the greatest relief. Thank you thank you thank you to all the brave souls keeping it all going and risking their health and lives for us. Praying for safety and support for all. With love and a million hugs. Xoxox

🥰Quarantine day 20 .
4 kids , LOTS of house work 😬I’m getting good at laundry and ironing. Loving ironing ( who knew ?!) 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Working on bathroom cleaning 🤣 Lula rose my baby girl loves to clean with me . I make her a little bottle of @youngliving thieves essential oil natural cleanser with water . She can spray all she wants. She is the best helper and I’m loving getting to share with her in these simple pleasures and great life lessons. We sing and dance and scrub . Thank you god mommy @stellamccartney for my favorite lady bug costume 🐞 thinking of all mothers and fathers trying to make it all work.

@911lonestar .. ever since I was a little girl I’ve always had a song in my heart. I sing morning , noon and night , mostly to myself.
Sometimes very loud in the shower , while driving in my car or when no one Is looking. I grew up in a home filled with music with musicians for parents and music always my greatest passion , a way to connect to ones deepest most true emotions and feelings. A way to relate to the world.
I was so lucky to get to share my secret love of singing with my character Michelle on 911 lone star. The producers had an idea that michelle loved to sing but struggled to find the courage to let her voice be heard.
I was so excited by this as I relate so much myself.
I chose this song till I gain control again as it’s one of my faves of all time. Written by Rodney Crowell and sung over the years by some of my absolute favorite singers and story tellers like emmylou Harris , Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings . They used a little bit of the song in a recent episode and it was such a joy for me to sing .
