One such night I realised it’s been 15 years he and family moved in next door and I didn’t have a single picture with just him and I. I jumped out of bed when dawn hit, brushed and ran and hugged him. We had some chai, spoke for hours like we do and peddamma took this picture. In this crazy world, and even more intense industry, he has been the lotus in the pond. Through his songs and conversations he has kept me and others afloat. The universe has been partial by sending him so near so God can speak through him to me directly. The first day I met him, standing between furniture and piles of boxes filled with many awards, he told me not to call him Shastri Garu but only Peddananna and some things stay❤️
