Ellen Wong Instagram – Please help! My sister is a nurse in Toronto that has been working in the Covid ICU. Her team is being forced to reuse regular surgical masks – only 2 masks per 12 hour shift. This is endangering their lives! They are also asked to refrain from using the essential N95 masks due to shortage. Without the proper PPE, healthcare workers cannot provide care for those in need. @justinpjtrudeau @fordnationdougford @johntory When can we expect supplies for our healthcare workers? The shortages include N95 masks, gowns, gloves, face shields and even scrubs.
Despite being under-equipped and without protection, healthcare professionals are STILL SHOWING UP everyday and putting their lives and their families at risk. They are real life heroes!
