Pearle Maaney Instagram – When people ask me what is love I usually say it’s Unconditional. Well it’s true, love is indeed Unconditional. I love my family Unconditionally, no matter what. But with time I realised that the person I criticised the most was Myself… I was not able to accept myself, I judged myself, dint take care of myself much, I was always trying to look for love and acceptance from outside. One day my dad sat me down and told me that the only person who needs to love me was me. It took me sometime to understand what he meant and when I understood what it meant it again took me a long time to imbibe it and make it practical. Self love is a very important step. The day I started to complete, fearlessly loving myself, I started accepting myself the way I was. I stopped judging the way I looked, my body felt relaxed. I found myself travelling towards a better place in life. A place that had Peace Love N Music. I love music… music is my way of entertaining myself when I’m alone and that’s coz I love myself. Eventually I was taking great care of myself mentally and physically, I let myself enjoy life, I did what made me happy, I distanced myself from people who drained my energy, I went closer to people who valued me, I made best friends with the wonderful girl I see everyday in the mirror, I motivated myself, I pushed myself and made sure i faced every hurdle bravely, “fearlessly loved” myself. This is me letting life live me and letting myself Fly. A big thumbs up to @converse.india for taking the initiative to remind the world this wonderful message that we often forget in this digital age . Instead of waiting for likes and comments from people who know not more than what they see on your profile. Let them not be the scale against which you measure your self worth.
