SELF ISOLATING SINCE 1986 😁 one of my last shoots before lock down – I do miss working with people and the energy of a movie set and the lovely vibe of a jam room but isolating is something we HAVE TO DO and when the lock down eases it doesn’t mean you go out and throw a party and squish each other. PLEASE STAY HOME as much as you can. We are up against something unseen and it’s something we haven’t understood yet. So we must not behave as Though we are invincible or can somehow negotiate with a virus !! This time can be used to talk with yourself and ask yourself the questions you’ve been avoiding and maybe find a way to find some new answers ! ALSO a time to have gratitude for what you do have , your food your friends your family and your comforts .Sending everyone lots of love and tonnes of good joo joo 🌤

Being a mother of any kind, finding the nurture in your nature and starting new cycles is such a powerful and beautiful thing. I’ve realised over the years that I’ve had varied forms of “mother” at different times in life. Thankyou mumma for bringing me into this world and teaching me so many important lessons.Thankyou @rukhminikrishnan for teaching me how to be a lady(although that hasn’t really worked out) and how to speak with truth and Lakshmi aunty for lessons in composure and enjoying the little things .. @shashamodi for teaching me kindness and acceptance Thankyou @brianlammusic for being my oddest mum and looking out for me for twelve years now 😁 Thankyou @natashaabhalla @pujpuri and @zooku for being my young mums and being there with me through these years through all of it and @amritha.ram for being my everyday “saaptiya” mum😁.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️We are a product of our collective experiences . I don’t know how I turned out but if you broke me open I would be spilling out with the love of these incredible moms of my life ❤️

I’ve always been obsessed with jackfruit ! I’ve never been a fan of ripe mango which many people find weird but I love it mixed with savoury food. I can’t even begin to describe how good this wrap was !! I made three of them and it was super filling and healthy.
💡 – Make sure you cut the raw jackfruit with oil on your hands cause that white alien goo is super hard to get off 👽 -You must add cucumber or anything green and crunchy to counter the heaviness of the beans and the mango 🥒 -it’s a must to add the sugar and paprika so that the favours can have a little dance in your mouth 💃🏻 -please be ultra patient cooking down the raw jackfruit to an almost pulled pork like texture and add salt or spice as required to balance out the water that diluted the flavour 🌶

CRUNCHY PEANUT BUTTER CHOCOLATE FUDGE 🥜 🍫 💩 you can substitute the butter with coconut oil – and you can re use double the amount of maple syrup for the second layer of peanut butter but I always love a bit of the glassy sugar crunch ✨also please don’t use foil I didn’t have any baking paper so I improvised – I would go without . Bare tray🤔 ENJOY !! 😁
