DJ Qualls Instagram – I tried to do this as a story but it was too hard and I got mad. Anyway. Most of my art collection is made up of old masters, late 19th/early 20th century impressionist/modern art and pop art pieces. I’ve spent the last week of isolation learning about contemporary art/post war art and I want to add a small, affordable piece to my collection. There are some auctions coming up and I’m having problems deciding. Help me choose. Which do you like best?

1. Don Smith, 18″x24” oil on board, 1960s

2. Joseph Meierhans, 11”x13.5” gouache on paper. 1950s

3. @kaws, 11”x6”, painted vinyl 2010s

4. Peter Dean, 17”x9.75” oil on Masonite. Yes, it’s a lion man riding a pig bike 1960s

5. Dwinell Grant 11”x12.75” ink on paper 1940s

All of them give me the feels and all are estimated around the same price…about 10 bar tabs plus tip.
