Lil Dicky Instagram – One year ago I put out Earth. Today, on Earth day, I am so proud and excited to announce that we’ve raised $815,000 that will all go to saving this planet. I’m humbled that we are able to grant these funds to such deserving organizations and grateful to all the artists on this song who made it possible. And of course, I’m grateful to every Earthling out there for listening and spreading the word. Unfortunately, the fight to save this planet is far from over, and we’ll need to do much more to turn this thing around before it’s too late. Despite how frightening the world feels right now with the COVID-19 pandemic, it has shown me something: we can modify our day-to-day behavior to adapt to a crisis when it’s right in front of us. Even if you don’t feel the climate crisis at every moment, it is truly right in front of us. And all across the world, humanity has banded together to combat the spread of COVID-19, putting convenience aside for the greater good. If we keep that same energy and apply it towards the environment, we can probably save the Earth. We should definitely do that. I love you all. Stay safe.
