Due to all this time that I have on my hands I’m finding some great ways to help the environment. I’d like to share them with you by doing monthly posts. So here are a few super easy changes you can make that huge a big impact on our planet. Click on my stories to be connected directly.. —
1. Use Glass Bottles, No More Plastic
I have a ton of glass jars in my pantry. They keep food super fresh and look dope as hell. In just one year the US generated almost 14 MILLION tons of plastic containers and plastic packaging, the majority of this plastic can’t be or is not recycled.
-Many plastics contain Bisphenol A (BPA) and Phthalates which disrupt natural hormone levels and negatively effect our health.
-Glass is 100% recyclable and can be reused endlessly without loss in quality or purity.
IDEAS FOR USE:
1. Consider using glass containers that you already have on hand.
2. Thrift shop for glass containers.
3. Reuse glass containers that items are packaged in.
4. Some glass containers come with lids, if yours don’t consider using bees wax cloth as a lid. They are natural, recyclable and food safe.
