The beach is open! We are a beach going family and have missed it so much. Yesterday was my 9 month old sons first time & my 9 year old daughter (pictured) didn’t care how cold the water was…she was IN! 💙🌊🦀 Thankful for this moment and that we’re able to relax on the beach once again. 🙏🏼

Hard to know how to begin…but this is my Grandfather, Frank “Frankie” Byrd (left) he fought in WW2 and (among many other amazing things during that time) he helped free the prisoners at Dachau…today I remember him and the countless others who have fought for our country and our freedom. What he (and they) endured, while unknowable, is not lost on me today. I am so proud and humbled as I sit here relaxing by the pool. How privileged we are to enjoy our liberty because of the brave men and women who have gone before and made it possible.
