I generally try to stay out of the political fray and stay focused on helping folks “forget about life for a while” as Billy Joel sings in Piano Man. That said… things have now gotten so far out of hand. I feel compelled to speak out! I honestly haven’t had words to express how sad and disgusted I feel about the current state of this country. My heart goes out to George Floyd’s family for the terrible injustice Mr. Floyd was so cruelly and inhumanely served (and by those sworn to “serve and protect.”) I proudly stand with anyone who is peacefully and non-violently protesting that injustice, along with protesting the systemic racism that has plagued our country for far, far too long. I proudly stand with anyone who believes in TRUTH, LOVE, PEACE, KINDESS and HARMONY. I have no room for hate, anarchy, chaos, and destruction of personal property. I also have no room for leaders who choose to divide rather than attempt to unite, especially at this crucial time when SO MANY LIVES ARE AT STAKE!!!! Dear friends… NO ONE on either side is right 100% of the time… but PEACE AND LOVE ALWAYS WIN!!! Let us all remember that. Thank you for reading this.
