Got LASIK done today, which was pretty wild. No pain, just the weird knowledge that a flap of my eye was being lifted open for a laser to blast it into shape. Doing okay now except for the “foreign body feeling” where there’s the constant sensation that something’s in my eye. It actually sucks kind of a lot but that’s what the numbing drops are for. I should be all better tomorrow night. Thanks @carebecc for taking care of me! (That damn Nurse Lucy mostly slept through her duties)

My 6th annual New Year’s Eve party (Jellicle edition) was just as lovely as always. So incredibly grateful to be surrounded by good people who I call friends. ❤️❤️
A real daddy daughter morning today
Shout out to my buddies Mike and Mark, who yesterday ran #ToughMudder with me! It was my first time doing the race in 5 years, and lemme tell you, it’s way different doing all those obstacles as a 30 year old than as a spritely 25 year old. But we still accomplished it all (except the electric strips at the end, we skipped that ish) and although my body feels broken today, I’m looking forward to doing it again next year.
@carebecc is the best nurse / fiancee ever (even if this card almost made me laugh which is a big no no)
