Kokum Kadi a.k.a Sol Kadi 🥥
10-12 kokum pieces
2 green chilli’s slit
3-5 cloves Garlic
200 ml coconut Milk ( fresh or tetra)
Salt to taste
Finely chopped Coriander
.
Rinse the Kokum and put it in a bowl . Add the coconut milk . Slit the green chillis and crush the garlic. add to the mix . Finish it off with salt and coriander . mix well and let it sit for 30 minutes minimum .

Goan Fish Curry 🥥

Coconut oil
Haldi Powder
Red chilli powder
Curry leaves
1 large chopped onion
Tamarind soaked in warm water
Coconut milk

Coconut curry paste to be ground –
2 tbsp Black peppercorn
4 tbsp whole coriander seeds
1/2 coconut desiccated
1 small onion chopped
.
In hot oil add Haldi and mirchi powder onion and curry leaves. Add the fish ( fish has been washed and salted ) , half cup water and let it cook . Add salt to taste . Cook the fish for 5 minutes and add the ground curry paste and coconut milk . Cover and simmer . Finally add the Tamarind paste ( added 1 tbsp of wheat flour ) and coriander . Super simple easy Fish curry ❤️

We served it with crisp fried local Chonak fish fillets , rice , roti and the Sol Kadi 👍🏼
