She learnt hers from @prasadkitty and mine well !! I’ve said it all in the video🤣 🥙Dal Makhani - start with 3/4 cup Black Urad Dal and 1/4 cup rajma soaked overnight . Please put 3 cups of water and pressure cook it till soft . * ½ cup finely chopped onions * 1 or 2 green chilies - chopped * 2 tsp ginger garlic paste * 1 cup tomato puréed * 2 tbsp tomato paste / purée (can skip if not avail ) * 3 Whole black pepper * 2 to 3 cloves * 1 black cardamom (badi elachi) * 1 stick cinnamon * 1 tej patta (bay leaf) * 1 teaspoon red chili powder * water as required * ¼ fresh Cream ( I’ve skipped this ) * 1 teaspoon crushed kasuri methi (dry fenugreek leaves)
3 tablespoon butter - salted or unsalted * salt as required. 🥙In hot oil add the whole masala -Tej patta. Pepper. Clove . Badi elachi . Cinnamon till it smokes. Add the onions and ginger garlic paste .Fry till translucent. Add the puréed tomato & paste Add the red chili powder ,Kasuri methi & salt .Cook till soft . Add butter & water for consistency. Simmer for 30 mins . Add white butter and switch off the gas . 🥙 Heat a piece of charcoal till red hot .Pick it up with tongs & place it in a katori as shown in the video , put a few drops of ghee or oil & Immediately cover it to make sure the smoke in sealed inside the pot . Let it sit for at least 1 hour . Simple easy aromatic Dal Makhani! 🥙Royal Peasy Paneer ☀️ 300 gms paneer cubes 6 Tomatoes chopped 2 Onions, large chopped Whole masala -8 black peppercorns * 6-8 cloves * 4 large badi elachi * 1-2 sticks cinnamon * 4/5 tej patta Salt to taste Red chilli powder/Haldi powder 1 cup Boiled peas Chopped coriander Fresh cream 1/2 cup Note : no water to be added at any point to this cook!!! Fry the paneer well on both sides and set aside . In the leftover oil . Add the whole masala till it smokes.Add the red chilli powder & Haldi powder .Add the onions and cook till translucent. Add the tomatoes and cook till soft, add the boiled peas,Kasuri methi coriander paneer & cream. Cover & shut the gas! Enjoy🌈

Sameera Reddy Instagram – I get many messages from mothers having anxiety about the whole process of Breastfeeding !So here is an update post for new mommies or to be . 🍼 Nyra turns 11 months in a few days and yes im still breastfeeding her. 
In my experience the first three months were tricky with managing flow but then it just balances out and becomes part of the schedule. I always say if you used only formula or did a combination for whatever reasons please don’t let anyone make you feel bad about it. As a mother you have choices that are yours and no one else can judge you. I’ve had moments of confusion myself with self doubt that can be very hard on a new mom and I consulted the Pediatrician but first I’ve always listened to my own Instinct. Trust it . I exclusively breastfed Nyra till 5.5 months and then introduced solids . I continue to feed her now in between meals on demand . 🌈
I’ve said this in an earlier post – A mother may be depressed, lacking in confidence, worried, or stressed and it affects breastfeeding. These factors do not directly affect her milk production, but can interfere with the way in which she responds to her baby. This can result in the baby taking less milk, and failing to stimulate milk production. So the people around you need to be encouraging you . Understanding the pressure on a new mom physically and emotionally is important in this overwhelming time. 🙌🏻 .
I would also like to give a shoutout to moms who have struggled with low milk production . This could happen due to a pathological reason including endocrine problems or a host of other factors .A few mothers have a physiological low breast-milk production, for no apparent reason, and production does not increase when the breastfeeding technique and pattern improve. There is no reason to shame them or make them feel any pressure in not being able to BF. we need to support all mothers and show love and respect . 
To all mommies- we are doing our best . So let’s celebrate that . 👏🏻 . #imperfectlyperfect .
