Sanam Shetty Instagram – With the lockdown rules being relaxed we have noticed most vegetable vendors, fish sellers out on the streets but without face masks and gloves. (Handkerchief masks and other cloth masks are not effective in containing the virus which is 0.3 to 0.5 micron in particle size!) . This is a very serious lapse which will increase the spread of COVID but they cannot be blamed. Considering costs of surgical masks being high they cannot afford it. . So we have decided to donate surgical masks to these vendors in need around my locality shortly. We can take up other localities based on donations.
