Sanam Shetty Instagram – WholeWheat Chocolate Cake 🎂
Ingredients for cake mix:
Whole Wheat flour -150 gms
Cocoa powder – 30 gms
Brown Sugar – 100 gms
Baking Powder – 1 tspn
Baking Soda – 1 tspn
Milk – 100 ml
Thick Curd – 100 ml
Coconut oil – 70 ml
Egg – 1
Vanilla essence – 1 tspn
Hot water – 50 ml (adjust slightly according to creamy cake mix consistancy)

Ingredients for topping:
Chocolate compound bars (chopped into tiny bits)
or Chocolate sauce

Preparation:
* On the stove place a large nonstick handi or large cooker (or aluminium handi) on high flame and pour in two handfull of white salt (this is to avoid burning of the vessel bottom).

* Inside the vessel, place a steel stand or any small steel plate to give height.
* Close the lid of the vessel fully and keep in medium flame for 20 mins (this is the replacement for oven preheat).

Cake mix
Mix all the ingredients in the same order listed one by one. While blending properly with a manual egg whisker/beater or electronic egg beater starting with the flour first.
Blend till you get a smooth creamy consistency.

Now pour the cake mix evenly into a greased cake mould container. (With butter paper optional).
Place this container with the cake mix inside the pre heated vessel on the stand and close the lid immediately and continue on medium flame for 50 minutes.

Just ten mins before turning off the stove, add tiny chopped chocolate bars on the top evenly and close the lid back.

Once fully cooled, place a large plate over it and flip it to get the cake out.
Flip the cake again back to get the chocolate topped side up.
Healthy chocolate cake is ready! 🎂❤️

You can replace chocolate bars topping with chocolate sauce as icing!
