Vidhya Instagram – #myjourney Saivam- A new beginning: When I got a call from Thaara mams daughter, my dearest late Abhi (Abhijatha) who was casting for Saivam, I was little hesitant to go because of the leave I have to take at my work place and also I was not mentally prepared for doing movies then. But she insisted that I come and meet the team at their office. When I went there, I met AL Vijay Sir for the first time. There was so much of warmth and positiveness from him and the whole team. Sir asked me if it is okay for me to play mother for a 6 year old, also mentioned that looks has to be changed accordingly to match the role etc. After talking to Vijay Sir I changed my mind and I really wanted to do the movie. Grateful to dearest Abhi. For me Saivam would not have happened without Abhi. Had the best experience shooting for Saivam in Kaaraikudi with all the amazing co-stars including Nassar Sir. We all were like one big family and the whole family is still in touch with each other. It was extremely amazing and I really cherish working with director AL Vijay Sir and Cinematographer Nirav Shah Sir, two wonderful human beings. Saivam opened up new avenues for me. #vidyapradeep
