Joshua Orpin Instagram – I’m not usually one to upload gym selfies, but… In February last year I was both excited and daunted by the prospect of playing Superboy. I knew that if I didn’t commit to the physicality of this iconic character, I’d never forgive myself… especially after checking out the size of Conner in some of these comics. It’s time to show some love and appreciation for the people who’ve helped me along the way.
Thank you to the very patient (and gorgeous) @asharosie_khan for helping me find my feet, and Ange Drake from @twentythreew in Preston for letting me use your fantastic gym after hours.
Thank you @brendan.field.12 at @anytimefitnessrowville for teaching me the meaning of commitment and discipline, how to eat like a champion, and for consistently fatiguing me to the point where I can barely lift a water bottle to my mouth.
Last but not least, thanks to @nunodesalles76 for keeping me on track and preventing me from having a complete mental breakdown due to having to be stark naked in not one, not two, but three separate episodes.
I’m immensely grateful to all of these people for being so generous with their time and knowledge.
Currently back to the grind, #titansseason3 is getting closer by the day 💪
