Kian Lawley Instagram – I don’t think I’ve always understood the power and impact my voice and every individual voice has. we live in a world where your voice is your strongest weapon and not everybody is using it. I took a couple pictures yesterday at the protest & later that evening when i got home i looked at this one and it really hit me. “IF YOU’RE NOT ANGRY, YOU’RE NOT PAYING ATTENTION” there is so much going on in the world right now and if you’re staying silent, you’re part of the problem. if you aren’t completely outraged by an innocent man being murdered because of the color of his skin, you are part of the problem. if you can sit at home and go about your day like nothing is happening because it doesn’t affect you personally, YOU ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM. there is such a great injustice happening right now and every single human being walking this earth needs to rise up and stand together. i’m not encouraging you to go out and put yourself in danger or put yourself in a harmful situation, but I AM encouraging you to go out and voice your opinion. STAND UP FOR WHAT IS RIGHT. USE YOUR VOICE, MAKE YOURSELF HEARD. STAND WITH THE HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF OTHER PEOPLE ALREADY OUT THERE MAKING A DIFFERENCE & MAKE A CHANGE. HOW CAN YOU SIT AT HOME, SEEING EVERYTHING GOING ON AND NOT WANT TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT? be the change you want to see in the world!!!!! if you are planning on going to be a part of a protest in your area, PLEASE prepare before you go. wear face protection, bring extra water, bring food and snacks & BE SAFE!!!! i can’t stress that enough, this is not fun and games, this is real life. GO OUT AND STAND UP FOR WHAT YOU BELIEVE IN AND FIGHT FOR WHATS FUCKING RIGHT. #blacklivesmatter #georgefloyd #justiceforgeorgefloyd
