I think the best thing about this quarantine has been the opportunity for self reflection and realizing how grateful I should’ve been just about day to day life. This day was March 12, 2019. A little over a year ago. I took this pic as I was headed to my screen test for Abigail. And not even 3 weeks later I was on a plane off to Van to shoot season 1 of @motherlandtv. We’re about to shoot season 2 in a couple of months, and idk ig I’m just reminding myself of how blessed I am and how wonderful God really is. And how I should be grateful for the big things. The little things. Grateful for the fact that He wakes me up in the morning. Grateful for the things I do have, not what I don’t. I’ve realized that we as humans seem to lose sight of this. We take a lot for granted. I’m trying my best to grow during this time, to come out stronger instead of letting the circumstances define me and derail me from my path and purpose. I hope this little spiel inspires you to do the same.

it has been more than 100 days since Breonna Taylor was murdered in her own home. ONE HUNDRED DAYS. her name is no longer trending. the cops that killed her are still free. still have their jobs. still walking the streets amongst us and living their everyday lives. they need to be FIRED. they need to be ARRESTED. and they need to be CONVICTED. GO HARDER for this young woman. ARREST THE COPS THAT KILLED BREONNA TAYLOR. DEMAND JUSTICE. And ARREST THE COPS THAT KILLED ELIJAH MCCLAIN while y’all at it. #breonnataylor #sayhername
