Sincere request to the media to highlight these incidents to curb further similar crimes🙏
Instead of focusing on baseless controversies stirred up by certain individuals with ulterior motives 🙏

Social Welfare officials, Childline and the Police have rescued atleast 70 Minors who were found locked up at a private mill in Avinashi, Tirupur!

The private mill owner had made arrangements with the families of these minors ( from Thiruvannamalai, Krishnagiri, Thiruvallur and Villupuram districts) to work for him for a monthly salary of Rs.5000.
.
Atleast 40 of them were unwilling to work at the mill and wanted to persue higher studies. Few had even just written their Plus 2 exams.
Cases will be filed against the mill owner and employers. while the minors are currently at social welfare homes.

It’s so disheartening to see parents resorting to such inhumane acts just to make ends meet!
