Sanam Shetty Instagram – Swiggy Cares had responded to my twitter post yesterday (@samsanamshetty1) in response to the ongoing strikes with @swiggyindia ‘s officially released statement. They have not denied the alleged cost cuts but have tried to justify that the delivery partners are not affected much with these changes. I strongly disagree with Swiggy’s statement since the multi state strikes are a direct reflection of the extreme inconveniences to the delivery partners. They are obviously unhappy and feel deprived of their original salary amounts. Swiggy needs to publish the detailed salary split up structure to understand their claims. Request @swiggyindia to be fair to your delivery executives and hear their pleas. It is not charity to exempt payments from ur customers and to make ur staff take the brunt of it!
