Anthony Daniels Instagram – Yet more sadness this year. Roger Carel has died. A much-loved and respected actor, he re-voiced my words in the French versions of Episodes I – VI. His gentlemanly manner allowed him to characterise the droid exactly how he would have sounded in French. I once had the joy of appearing with him on stage. I played 3PO in imperfect French. He did it in flawless English. We had such fun.
