Joe Lo Truglio Instagram – 🌞Last Wednesday I climbed to the summit of Mt Baldy with some buds. 10,000 ft. We started at San Antonio Falls, an elevation of 6,000 ft. Four hours, fifteen minutes up. Two hours fifty minutes down. It destroyed my legs but exploded my spirit. Still feeling the ripples of both. Next day, I go to Joshua Tree. All muscles at Defcon 1 so my hand starts spasming. I laugh because that’s all I can do at 70 mph. I land in the desert and spend two nights. It’s like sleeping in a planetarium. Infinite stars. Mars is out and red as hell. I see the comet 🌠before it goes away for another 6800 years. Discovered some constellations: Scorpio ♏️and Saggitarius♐️. The world is insane and the future unknown but in just four days I’ve been able to reset the compass. Friends, you won’t regret it. Get outside. Test your limits. Challenge your stamina. If it hurts, even better. You’ll feel alive and not numb to all this noise thrown at you everyday. If you can, climb. If it’s at night, look up. Check your water supply. Tell your people you love them.
