Michael Bearden Instagram – These are extraordinary times! So much uncertainty, anxiety, worry, speculation, and other connections to fear! Understandably. We’re human. People I know personally have either contracted this virus, or have now passed on from having it. It sucks! 💔 I don’t know the answers. I do know that I don’t want to contribute to the anxiety. I’ve never been a fatalist. In THIS moment. In the NOW. I just choose to embrace things that uplift and may offer some hope! My world expression is music! My mouthpiece is piano. This is a short throwback clip of one of me playing one of my favorite songs by John Lennon. Still so relevant today. Hopefully, some of you can find just a little bit of solace in these frequencies, notes and chords. Be well. Be safe. Be healthy. Be love! M~ #weareone ☝️
Michael Bearden Instagram – As we continue what has been a long and arduous fight for justice and equality, I’ve heard some in this modern movement pronounce,”we are not our parents, grandparents, ancestors, etc…!” ⠀ ⠀ I understand the sentiment. Everyone is “fed up” with ALL of the never ending injustices we suffer at the hands of racism, and all other offspring of fear! ⠀ ⠀ It is my fervent hope that the newer generation will be able to solve this centuries old crisis of division and inhumanity! ⠀ ⠀ However, before ANY movement can progress, it is imperative to understand and acknowledge that, we are able to stand up today, because people like John Lewis gave us shoulders on which to stand yesterday! ⠀ ⠀ R.I.P. to a true AMERICAN hero. Congressman Lewis represented everything good and decent in humanity. We MUST continue the legacy! M~ #johnlewis 🕊🕊🕊✊🏾
