Michael Bearden Instagram – One of the most beautiful things about my career so far is the ‘variety’ of artists I’ve had the pleasure of creating with. My mindset has always been, music is music! I don’t care about categories! I got to know Chris Cornell just a little bit. Even after this show, (The Kennedy Center Honors which I worked on for over a decade!) Chris reached out to me to do some more collaborating. Unfortunately, we were never able to get to it! He’s been gone a few years now. On this date on this month. His talent was immense! His energy was beautiful. A very kind soul! 🙌🏾 You never know someone’s personal pain. Check in with your loved ones! R.I.P. Chris!🙏🏾 M~ (I realize some of you may not know who Chris was. And, that’s okay. Moving forward in my posts, I’ve made it an exact intention to show as many sides of my career as possible. Just to show any young person who may be following that, your passion for music doesn’t have to be focused just on ONE thing! You can explore all the sides of music and thrive. Don’t let anyone put you in a box 📦) I have many more sides to my music life than MJ and Gaga. As amazing as those sides are! 🙌🏾
