Jill Biden Instagram – We need a president who listens to educators. This is Mr. Christopher Wiggins. Let’s listen to him. He teaches 2nd grade at Shortlidge Academy in Wilmington, Delaware where I had the pleasure of visiting him on Tuesday. To support his students during this pandemic, Mr. Wiggins, like so many other educators, has made adjustments to his teaching plan in order to prepare for this school year. Educators everywhere are adapting to teaching remotely. Mr. Wiggins has decided to teach virtually from his classroom. He wants his students to get a sense for what their classroom will look and feel like once they’re back. His priority is to build community and make his students feel safe.
