Linda Evans Instagram – I absolutely loved working with Kenny Rogers – it was memorable for a million reasons. He was one of the great ones – kind, thoughtful, dear… the best of men. Many of you know that I love pizza so much, that if you wake me up in the middle of the night and ask me if I’d like a slice, I’ll say YES. Kenny used to have it delivered to me while we filmed The Gambler. When I “sang” with Kenny, he assured me that no matter how I sounded, they could fix me in the studio. I trusted him completely. He was such an incredible singer and songwriter. But the truth be known, even though I would be dubbed, I still had to perform the song. I’ll never forget those moments as I belted out, way off-key, while Kenny stayed in character, holding a straight face, and all I could feel was his love. He was a remarkably good man who brought music into all our lives, and his unforgettable voice and beautiful heart will live on in mine. 💛🎶🌟
