I was working in ‘The City’ doing my first proper IT contract, working in Aldgate to be precise. I was in the office above the tube station when the attack happened. At first we were told it was a “fault with the aircon on the tube”. Oblivious, I left the office to head to a conference. Within minutes of doing so, it became apparent that it wasn’t an ‘aircon fault’ at all.

What I saw in the streets that day will stay with me forever. Panic, fear, carnage, injuries and so many people helping each other.

I will never forget it.

My thoughts today are with the loved ones of everyone who died and all of those people who live on, but have been affected by that day ❤️🙏🏻
