Richa Gangopadhyay Instagram – Happy (belated) birthday to my husband, Joe! Over the last 4 years we’ve been together, our relationship has grown leaps and bounds and I find myself falling just as hard for him as the first day we met. An unexpected union, but one built to last an eternity.⁣⁣ 👩🏽‍🤝‍👨🏼💖 ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ There’s nothing “average” about my Joe. His worldview and strong values have been shaped through his unique experiences moving around the world and country several times throughout his childhood, debating as a national debate champion through high school and college, and as an adult, a US Army officer and platoon leader, fighting in combat in Afghanistan, training troops as a Liaison Officer in South Korea, switching tracks after completing his MBA (meeting me in the process!) and excelling in his career in finance at Intel. He’s truly one of the most intelligent, well-rounded and open minded human beings I have ever known.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ He’s also the most incredible soul I have ever known. He has taught me what the meaning of the words empathy, respect and unconditional love truly are. He inspires me and makes me want to be better and do better every single day. The way he supports me through times of uncertainty, celebrates and embraces our differences with pride, and listens with the intent to learn make him the most understanding and compassionate partner. He’s the reason I start every day with a smile and go to bed with a happy heart. 🥰⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I can’t find enough words to express how grateful I am to call this man mine. Not sure what I did to deserve him, but Joe has turned my world upside down in the best possible way.
