When I came here, things around me seemed normal but it’s the locals who love their state who educated me that it’s not normal and I’m grateful to them for that. These people have had to sacrifice a lot to make sure the virus does not get worse and I apologise for not being mindful of those sacrifices in my excitement. After being cooped in for 5 months, I got overwhelmed with the freedom i found in Goa and got carried away because i wanted to make travel content, something I haven’t been able to do for months. I knew Goa relies heavily on tourism so I was trying to do my best to tell people what is open and what’s not. Basically doing my job as a travel content creator but now I realise the reality of Goa and what the Goans really want is to be left alone for now until the situation gets better.
