Today on Mother’s Day my heart breaks for anyone who lost a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, niece or any maternal figure during the COVID-19 pandemic. Grief is different for all of us, yet I can relate because I lost my mother ten years ago unexpectedly and she was buried on Mother’s Day. I miss her kindness, her smile, her warmth, and she had such a devotion for a personal relationship with God. That’s what helped me find the strength to overcome my grief.
