Madame Madness Instagram – 🔥The Funeral of Madame Madness. 🔥 As you might have seen by now, the drag race journey has ended for me. I never said yes to the show to “win it”. I wanted to use this platform to create awareness to parents, our current generation and also the younger generation watching the show that we are still living in a world that teaches individuals that we should life by “gender standards”. At a young age we are already being told how to behave. How to be. How to present yourself to the world. How to not be. We get pushed into living a certain life that’s not authenticly you. And that does not stop at home. It also happens at school, workplaces, and even in the outside world. As parents, teachers, politicians, allies, for everyone basically involved in the new generation: it’s your duty to create a save space for children to grow up to be their authentic self and support them no matter who or what they wanna be when they grow up. Also when it comes to bullying I believe we still have a long way to go. We need to take more actions. Get more involved. Make it stop. The beauty of drag for me is that it has showed me that it’s okay to be myself. To be feminine, but also masculine. To be introverted, but also extroverted. To be human. And I’m still learning more about myself. That’s the beauty behind it. This might be the end of Madame Madness on drag race. But it’s just the beginning of my new life. I’m closing the doors that have troubled me in the past and I’m starting fresh.
