Sean Faris Instagram – #Flashback to the 2 1/2 months I got to spend in India while shooting #BarefootWarriors. This adventure to the other side of the world was filled with massive transformation for me and the path I am walking through this life. I have never been so humbled as I was during this time. I remember that for the longest time I had a guard up like a shield of protection b/c I knew that I being a foreigner with a skintone many shades lighter than anyone else around stood out like sore thumb and somewhere deep down in the depths of the mind expected to be treated with some sort of negative vibe for being different. It wasn’t until I truly started to let go and let the fear of being different fade that I realized that I was surrounded by people that were simply intrigued and really curious about me with love and positivity b/c I actually was different than what they were used to. There was no hate, anger , or resentment at all. It was only then that I realized that I had been the one passing judgement on who was different than who. That I was the one whose fear was leading the way. That I was the one that had been conditioned to fear what was different from me. That I am the one responsible for the fear I am carrying around like a sack of bricks. That is when I began to understand that it was time for me to grow and change and be more aware and responsible for the lens through which I choose to see the world. The whole time I spent in India I received nothing but love and kindness. I wonder what the global energy field would feel like if the entire world could put down their shields of fear and try to understand one another rather than to simply fear what is different. In the end we are one race. The human race. ✌❤😀
