Sean Faris Instagram – May is #mentalhealthawarenessmonth and I just wanted to share a little personal information with you guys because I want to be a part of helping to create a dialogue about what I think is one of the most important topics not being talked about. Life has ups and downs and we are all on this ride together just at different points of the ride. There is no shame in feeling down or depressed or sad or angry or anxious. The important thing to know is that it is “ok” to feel and if you need to, talk to somebody. Most days we are so caught up with ourselves that we forget to check in with our friends, family, and loved ones. If you need help ask for help. If you have a friend you think may be suffering, check in on them. At the end of the day I have come to learn that life is ever changing and the pendulum is always swinging. If things aren’t great right now just give yourself some time. Create some space and eventually things will get better. Yesterday wasn’t the greatest day for me. In fact it was a real struggle. I reached out to a friend who gave me some great advice. I sat on the ground and meditated created some space between myself and the emotional energy that was present and eventually was able to get centered. And today was just fantastic!
