Proclaim your support for our Black brothers and sisters who have been systematically oppressed since they first stepped on this stolen land. I have had enough. I am an Afro-Latinx, hailing Brazilian African roots and so I feel generational oppression in my bones. I’m so sorry. Frankly making noise is the only way to be heard because decades of peaceful protests and kneeling at football games and giving poignant speeches during awards aren’t jarring enough to cause change. I believe in love and unity. The political unrest that is happening are to shake up change SO WE DO NOT CONTINUE THIS WAY. The time to stand up for justice is now.
