Carla Azar Instagram – VIOLA SMITH passed away yesterday at age 107. She was playing drums until the very end. For me, Viola was (and is) the epitome of feminism in its most honest form – proving her undeniable equality through her work and perseverance, which speaks louder than words > and then of course doing this with the most powerful instrument in the world. RIP VIOLA. ⠀
