And in that brilliant way, @andersoncowan created a hilarious dark comedy that stands against bullying and shows people how dumb homophobia is. 🧨 Dick jokes aside, getting to play Meg was one of the biggest surprises and privileges of my acting career so far. And I’m not alone — hundreds of people all over the country have already seen this movie and think it’s just as special as I do. The cast, crew, and everyone who pitched in to help Anderson make this movie are exceptional and I think their talent and dedication really shines through.
GROUPERS premieres tonight in its first official theatrical release at the Laemmle Music Hall in Beverly Hills, and will be showing all week. It will also open on select theaters starting October 1, and expand to digital release by year’s end.
