Manisha Eerabathini Instagram – It’s been a dreadfully numb day – all I did was listen, song after song. 🔸 He was a true legend. He not only accomplished incredible feats that we all know about, but he was also relentlessly dedicated to shows like Padutha Theeyaga where he provided a platform for new singers, including me. A person of his stature never really needed to be so passionate and loving towards such a show and yet he maintained consistency, dignity & show standards for several years, empowering so many people along the way. 🔸 This is when I am profoundly grateful for technology as we forever have access to him, his words, his teachings, and of course his singing. May we all continue to learn from him and may we all continue to listen to his magnificent voice for generations to come. 🔸 My favorite memory of him is from the day of the Padutha Theeyage finale. After the shoot, the entire team convened at the hotel conference room, and sat on the floor around him like little star-struck kids. He spoke for a couple hours, sharing stories and jokes. We listened, laughed and absorbed it all.
