Manisha Eerabathini Instagram – This day, 6 years ago, I left my life in America & moved to India. I left family, friends, comforts, mindsets, etc. to start a new life in India, a place I was familiar with but not comfortable enough to know how I would be able to adapt. I thought it would be a 1 year experiment – here we are, 6 years later. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’ve struggled a lot, unlearned so many things I thought to be true, dealt with different kinds of people and so much more. A lot of people thought I was crazy (probably still do) to leave an incredible degree from a reputed university to pursue music. I still don’t know if it was the right move or not. 🤔 It’s been a roller coaster but the only thing keeping me going is that I have stumbled upon the small yet rare power to potentially influence other people’s lives in some way. That might be a fleeting 2 minutes of someone’s day with a song or perhaps even a 15 second singing snippet – this is something not everyone gets to do. And no matter what the future entails, I hope to continue to do so for as long as I can. . . Lastly, social media is a platform to put forth the best side of people. We are currently so engrossed in it, myself included but let’s all remember that social media is not life. Don’t believe everything you see here. Especially during these times, we realize there is so much more to life than a mere story, let’s focus on that. *note to self as well* Thank you all for continued support & love, Manisha 💜 Sorry for the long post.
