It’s a thing that people use to harass the ones who do not buy into the pigeonhole of their personal moral values. We all have experienced it at some point of time in our lives. Some people have a sense of entitlement and force their views on others. “Don’t wear short clothes, don’t hang out with guys, don’t voice out your opinions, keep your voice down, don’t answer back, you’re a women and you have to adjust to the world, and the list just goes on”. These are certain ideologies that we are instilled with as we grow. But why? Just because I was born as a girl? I did not want my experience at Agara Lake to die down quietly. That day standing up to Moral Policing took a lot of courage and heart. It took, going against people’s views on what I should be doing as a girl. But I stood up to what was wrong not just for me but for everyone who’s voice is unheard. All of you stood by me through this which helped us collectively bring about a tinyyyy change wave To all the women out there Lets break these norms, shatter these rules and live life on our own terms.
