Tanushree Dutta Instagram – When Bollywood superstars go on and on condemning Hathras gangrape, Nirbhaya gangrape, and other acts of brutality against women across the country but refuse to even acknowledge the #metoo movement right in their own backyard! When these so called superstars post long hardhitting posts and videos of support to poor dead victims of violence against women, but silence the voices of their own living colleagues when they raise their voices on workplace harassment! When they scream women empowerment but on the other hand work and be friends with the abusers freely, and shun and ostracise the abuse victims of harassment from work. I call it hypocrisy; Blockbuster hypocricy!! Bollywood stars put their greatest show on in real life to get the public to like them and watch their movies. Social topics are like a PR strategy to sell movie tickets and other’s misfortune a way to glorify their superstar selves. Do you really feel their pain?? Have you ever known what it is to be pushed to a corner?? Behind your mask you are just as selfish as those that victimised these poor souls. What to say now??
