There was a deafening silence after the movie. The air was heavy. People were wearing masks. Yet their eyes were naked. Some of the cast and crew hugged. And they wouldn’t let go. Their shoulders were damp from tears. The movie had done its job. It affected people. You could tell. And that’s what art does. It affects you. It stays with you. It haunts you. It was so beautiful.
