This work is part of a series that Kehinde Wiley developed while in quarantine at @blackrocksenegal the artist compound and residency program he founded in 2019 on the coast of Dakar. Unable to find models with his typical street casting process due to COVID-19, Wiley turned to those immediately surrounding him.
