Hayley Williams Instagram – me and @jellyquinn figuring out live synths n sounds for “SUGAR ON THE RIM”. playin parts i wrote in studio singin the vocals live in opposing rhythms is a challenge. i havent gotten it down yet. especially since i love to play everything behind the beat 😂 New Order, i am not! here’s one of our first cracks at it… listen to how my playing pulls against the kick/snare. i been playing music, professionally, over half my life – practicing is still just not my strong suit. just an encouragement to talented friends who think they’re shit. healthy doses of that drive us to get better. so be grateful for the frustration!
