Sarah Rafferty Instagram – Safely visited the wishing tree at Descanso Gardens today. And I cried, (like you told me too @michaelmedicola) and just like I did when I visited Shrines and Temples in Japan and read the prayers handwritten and hung up on small wooden plaques (with @mauracraig1). At the time I thought it might be the jet lag. Today I know it’s the reminder that we are all so much more alike than we are different. My little one will get her wish, but over zoom this year. And we will hold out hope for next Christmas. Meantime I join the prayers I read today (swipe). May everyone have a home; I wish Marie and everyone like her peace in their time of such grief; may your life be happy and healthy and may LOVE ALWAYS FIND YOU; to Jackson’s Aunt, I pray your “darling nephew”will be cured of cancer; may the states be truly united in love; may Covid be over; and above all may there be MORE MAGIC.
